Helen Ede, MD, attended St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, and received her medical degree in 2001. Then, she served her residency in family medicine and was Chief Resident in her last year at Middlesex Hospital (2001-2004). In addition, Dr. Ede received board certification in family medicine from the American Board of Family Medicine (2015). She remains an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Connecticut Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. Prior to medical school, she completed a BS degree in Medical Laboratory Science at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT (1992), followed by 5 years as a Cytotechnologist at St. Raphael’s Hospital.
